Happy New Year!!

Hi prayer partners,

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every year I love to end the old and begin the new with Oswald Chambers. “Leave the broken, irreparable past in His Hands, and step out into the irresistible future with Him.” That is Oswald’s bidding farewell to the old year and then his January 1st encourages us to start out the new by “Giving our Utmost for His Highest!” What a challenge.

We are moving along well with our Mardi Gras promotion.

· Our administration team includes Roger Lipe, Dave Munson, Dave Maragni, Mark Jordan and me. I would appreciate your prayers for wisdom for this group. We have chosen our leaders of the camps and are in the process of calling them. We will meet next week to choose squad leaders and leaders. It is so important to get men in the right places.

· Pray that men would be willing to do whatever needs doing as we each go forth to experience the Lord in and through each other as we share Jesus with the lost at the Mardi Gras.

· Pray for our Mardi Gras promo that will go out this week. Pray for the Lord to call forth men from all the States and denominations.

· As we have over $2,000.00 in expenses more than last year, please pray the Lord will provide as we are not going to raise the donation as it is already tough for some to make it with the state of the economy.

· Continue to pray for Jim Murphy as he is getting radiation treatments on his throat in Denver. He has about 5 weeks of treatment left.

· Pray for Carl Johnson as he will confer with the Doctors tomorrow about how far the cancer has spread and what options are available. Please pray the cancer is contained in the prostate and can be treated.

· My wife, Jan, is still not doing well. She did have an ekg last week to check out her heart. She had a scan to see if her problem is her gall bladder. Today, I am taking her for more tests. I am getting experience at being the “care-provider.” I find this is a new experience for me and is really stretching me as it gets me out of my regular “rhythm.” I am amazed at how much I “need” my regular schedule to keep on top of things daily. We need to find out how to get help for Janie.

Thanks for your concern and prayers.

Love ya’s

- Fred
