Thank you for PRAYING!

Hi prayer friends,

Thanks for your prayers for our Mardi Gras Mission trip this past week.  Every year it seems the Lord shows up better.  This year was no exception.  You can go to the NGL page on FaceBook (CLICK HERE) to read testimonies and see pictures.  My favorite video is the one of the group marching down Bourbon Street with Jim Rich leading the singing.

   - Please pray for John Murrow as he is in the hospital in Carbondale, Illinois.  He had a heart attack.  He seems to be doing OK, but needs your prayers.

   - Please pray for Ronnie Lumpkin as he is in the hospital in Herrin, Illinois with heart issues.

These two men were with us at Mardi Gras.  I am thankful the problems manifested back home to make it easier to get help.

Bernie Kneale led the Intercessory Ministry this year.  Many churches and individuals participated.  This was a plus that only God knows how much it helped.  If you or your church would like to help in this important ministry in the future, just let us know.  There were some shootings near one of our groups, but the Lord protected our men.  As one group was marching, the police went on ahead and cleared the way.  Roger Lipe went to the police headquarters as usual before the groups went out on the street.  The police were pleased to have us check in with them and we found great favor there.

We had five camps which means we had to have 5 leadership teams, 5 cooking teams, 5 music groups, 5 sets of administration and so on.  Yes, each camp did great as they fulfilled the Scripture that is the basis of No Greater Love Ministries which is to put the gospel in the hands of (these) faithful men so they can pass it on to others.  What great and dedicated men God has called forth to work together with NGL!!!  To God be the Glory!

What a wonderful year.  I have never sensed God’s presence as strong as it was this year.  The men were still anointed and fresh on the last night as we gathered and praised the Lord under the bridge.

WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!  I can hardly wait to see what the Lord will do in and through us at the Indy 500 in May.  Each event for the past 34 years gets better as the Lord convicts us of things that need to gotten rid of and shows us things of His that can take their place.

Our motto was :  “GOOD, BETTER, BEST NEVER LET IT REST TIL THE GOOD GETS BETTER AND THE BETTER IS BEST.”  - Bill McCartney of Promise Keepers

Love ya’s and again---------------

THANKS FOR YOUR LOVE, PRAYERS, PARTICIPATION AND SUPPORT!

In His service,

Fred
